PrivacyUpdated June 2026

The short version:
we don't want your data.

So we don't collect it. Here's exactly what does and doesn't happen when you use Grabvex.

Most privacy policies are long because the company is doing a lot with your data. This one is short for the opposite reason.

What we collect

No account, no email, no login — and we never keep the links or files you download. We do use Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate: which pages get visited, rough location (country and city), device type, and where visitors arrived from. It's used to improve the site, not to build a profile tied to your name, and we don't run ad networks or sell data.

The link you paste

When you paste a link and hit download, that link is sent to our server, used to look up the original media file, and then discarded. It lives in memory for the few seconds the lookup takes. We don't write it to a database, we don't keep a history, and there's no record afterward of what was downloaded or by whom.

The files

Grabvex doesn't host or store the media you download. We find the file on the platform's own servers and give your browser the direct address. The download happens between your device and the platform — the file never passes through us.

Server logs

Grabvex runs on standard cloud hosting. Like almost any server, it may keep short-lived, automatic technical logs (for example, the time of a request and a status code) to keep the service running and stop abuse. These are not used to build a profile of you and are not sold or shared. A temporary rate-limit counter exists to stop a single source from hammering the service — it counts requests, not people.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets a few cookies to measure visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. They don't identify you personally and aren't used for advertising. You can block them with your browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on, and Grabvex works exactly the same.

Third parties

Two Google services are used: Google Fonts (so the type renders) and Google Analytics (for the aggregate traffic stats above). Beyond those, the pages you visit are between you and the platform you're downloading from. If you'd rather not be counted at all, use the opt-out linked above before you browse.

Children

Grabvex isn't aimed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone — because it doesn't collect personal data at all.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. The direction won't: less data, not more.
