What Grabvex is
Grabvex is a free tool that helps you download publicly available media from Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook and Threads by finding the original file and giving you the link to it. It doesn't host that media, and it isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of those platforms, Meta, ByteDance or Google.
Use it for things you're allowed to
You're responsible for what you download and what you do with it. Use Grabvex for your own content, for media you have permission to use, or for material you're otherwise entitled to save. Respect the rights of the people who made it, and follow the rules of the platform it came from.
Don't use Grabvex to infringe copyright, repost others' work as your own, or break any law. The tool doesn't grant you rights you don't already have, and pasting a link into Grabvex doesn't change who owns what comes back.
Copyright & takedown
Grabvex doesn't host, store, modify, or cache any third-party media. It locates a file on the platform's own servers and returns the address. The content itself stays where the original creator and platform put it.
If you believe content reachable through Grabvex infringes your copyright or other rights, email grabvex@gmail.com with: (a) the link in question, (b) a description of the work, (c) your contact details, and (d) a statement that the claim is made in good faith and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Valid requests are handled promptly. Because the actual file lives on a third-party platform, takedowns of the underlying media should also be filed with that platform directly — Grabvex can only stop resolving the link on its end.
Don't abuse the service
To keep it fast and free for everyone, don't hammer it with automated bulk requests, run scrapers against it, attempt to bypass rate limits, or try to break or overload it. There's a rate limit in place; if you hit it, wait a minute and carry on. Abusive traffic may be blocked without notice. Don't probe the site for vulnerabilities outside of a responsible-disclosure context — if you find something, write in at grabvex@gmail.com and it'll be taken seriously.
Security & what we keep
The site is served over HTTPS. Links you paste into the downloader are processed in memory for the few seconds needed to find the file and are not written to any database or log. Grabvex doesn't ask for an account, doesn't ask for payment details, and doesn't store cookies that profile you across the web. Privacy-respecting Google Analytics is the only third-party included; full detail is in the Privacy policy.
Provided as-is & liability
Grabvex is offered as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. There's no guarantee that every link will work, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that the result will exactly match what you expected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grabvex and the person who runs it aren't liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the service, including loss of data, files, profits, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility.
Your responsibility
You agree to use Grabvex lawfully and to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: content you download through the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right — including any platform's terms of service or any intellectual-property right.
Availability
This is a small, independent project. Features may change, platforms may be added or removed, and the service could be paused or stopped at any time without notice.
Changes to these terms
If the terms change, the date at the top updates. Continuing to use Grabvex after a change means you're fine with the new version.
