Terms of Service

Plain language, no fine-print traps. By using Grabvex you agree to the terms below.

These terms are written to be read, not survived. They explain what Grabvex is, what you may and may not do with it, and the legal terms that protect both you and the service. If anything is unclear, email grabvex@gmail.com and ask.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Grabvex (“Grabvex”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using grabvex.com or any of its tools, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Grabvex is

Grabvex is a free tool that helps you download publicly available media from Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, Reddit and LinkedIn by locating the original file and giving you a link to it. Grabvex does not host, store, cache, or modify that media, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of those platforms, Meta, ByteDance, Google, or any other rights holder. Platform names and trademarks are used only for identification.

Eligibility

You may use Grabvex only if you can form a legally binding contract in your country and are at least the age of digital consent where you live (for example, 13 in the United States or 16 in parts of the EEA). If you are a minor, you may use Grabvex only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Grabvex does not require an account, and you are responsible for all activity carried out through your device.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for what you download and what you do with it. Use Grabvex for your own content, for media you have permission to use, or for material you are otherwise legally entitled to save, and always respect the rights of the people who created it and the rules of the platform it came from. Grabvex does not grant you any rights you do not already have; pasting a link into it does not change who owns the resulting file.

Prohibited use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use Grabvex to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or any other right;
  • Download private, restricted, or login-gated content, or attempt to access anything that is not publicly available;
  • Re-upload, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit content you do not own or have permission to use;
  • Use the service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or any platform’s terms of service;
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated or bulk requests, or otherwise access the service other than through the provided interface;
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or technical protection measures, including digital rights management (DRM);
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
  • Introduce malware, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service outside a responsible-disclosure context;
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

We may block, throttle, or refuse access to anyone who breaks these rules, without notice.

Intellectual property & third-party content

The media you download belongs to its respective creators and rights holders, not to Grabvex. Grabvex never claims ownership of that content and takes no responsibility for how you use it. Separately, the Grabvex name, logo, site design, text, and code are the property of Grabvex and its operator and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission, except as allowed by law.

Copyright & DMCA policy

Grabvex respects intellectual-property rights and expects its users to do the same. Because Grabvex does not host third-party media — it only locates a file on the platform’s own servers and returns the address — the underlying content stays where the creator and platform put it. If you believe content reachable through Grabvex infringes your copyright, send a notice to grabvex@gmail.com including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature and contact details;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • The specific link or URL in question;
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Valid notices are actioned promptly, and we will stop resolving the link on our end. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with equivalent detail. Grabvex operates a repeat-infringer policy and may block access for users who repeatedly submit infringing links. Because the actual file lives on a third-party platform, requests to remove the underlying media should also be filed with that platform directly.

Third-party platforms

Grabvex interacts with content hosted by third-party platforms that we do not control. Your use of that content, and of those platforms, is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or legality of third-party content, and the presence of a platform in Grabvex does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

Privacy

The links you paste are processed in memory only for the few seconds needed to find your file and are not written to any database or log. Grabvex asks for no account and no payment details. How we handle the limited data we do process, such as privacy-respecting analytics, is described in full in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Grabvex is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that every link will resolve, or that results will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grabvex and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the service, even if advised of the possibility. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use Grabvex (which is zero) or USD 50.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grabvex and its operator from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you download through the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or any third-party right, including any platform’s terms of service or any intellectual-property right.

Rate limits, abuse & security

To keep Grabvex fast and free for everyone, a rate limit is in place. If you hit it, wait a moment and continue. Automated, bulk, or abusive traffic may be blocked without notice. The site is served over HTTPS. If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to grabvex@gmail.com before disclosing it publicly, and it will be taken seriously.

Availability & changes to the service

Grabvex is a small, independent project. Features may change, platforms may be added or removed, and the service may be paused, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice or liability.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Grabvex at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. The sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own place of residence.

Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Grabvex regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top will change, and material changes may be highlighted on the site. Continuing to use Grabvex after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
